Iona Bohan Liu (she/her) is a PhD student in Art Education. With an MFA from the University of Chicago and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, her research draws from critical theory to examine marginalized cultural practices. Her current interests include women’s labor in Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage and Pan-Africanism in emancipatory pedagogy.
